New Morning Community Preschool located in Edgewood, Atlanta is currently accepting applications for an experienced, loving and patient multi-age substitute teachers. We are a half day preschool that operates from 9:00-1:00 Monday–Friday. Experience in a non-traditional classroom environment is a plus!

*at least 2 yrs experience in a childcare role – Degreed teachers preferred and required for Pre-K position.
*clean criminal background check
*ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time
*CPR/First Aid certified…or willing to become within the first few weeks of employment
*focus on teamwork…you will work with several teachers as we complete school wide service projects and often collaborate to accomplish our goals.
Please understand this is a Part-Time job, paid hourly (no pay when not present). Our teachers are not salaried. Some details:
*Work days are currently MWF and will increase to M to F (five days) in mid-January.
*Work hours are approximately 8:30 am to 1:15 pm
*Pay is strictly hourly
*The employee is not paid when she/he is out
*Pay is received monthly
*Work begins immediately (through May 2014). We operate on a standard academic calendar with winter breaks, spring breaks, holidays, etc.
*A probationary term exists
